Antje Nikola Mönning

Antje Nikola Mönning is a German actress, filmmaker, producer and composer. She trained at Schauspiel München and began her career in theatre before working extensively in film and television.

She became known to a wider television audience through her role as Jenny in the German television series Um Himmels Willen (ARD). Alongside acting, she has developed and produced independent films with wtp international, and has worked as a screenwriter, author and composer.

Her work moves between acting, filmmaking and music, with a particular focus on independent cinema and unconventional artistic perspectives. In 2023, she published her first book, „Nicht normal“ ist ganz normal (“Not Normal” Is Completely Normal), which she presented, among other places, at the Leipzig Book Fair. Since 2024, she has regularly given guest lectures at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) on the topic of “The Influence of the Media on Our Body Image” in the Department of Health Sciences.
